As both a coach and a member of the Executive Board, Michael has worked extensively for nine years to help grow the organization to one of the most sucessful small market football programs in Alberta.

In addition to his yearsas a coach with the high school HJ Cody Lakers and now with the PeeWee Bears Michael has taken on other initiatives as a board member - producing their player safety video, creating and managing the association website to creating the online registration system.

When asked for this thoughts about what the future holds for his involvement with football he replied, "As long as it's still fun and I feel I still have something of value to contribute I'll be involved. Many of these kids need a place where they feel like they belong and being part of a team can do that for them. I want to do my part to make sure they have that through football here in Sylvan Lake.
